Writers Boot Camp, the premiere screenwriting
development program for film and television writers, in
conjunction with NYC Midnight Movie Making Madness, invites you to a
very special event on Thursday, October 7 from 7-9 pm,
at Tribeca Cinemas. Writers Boot Camp founder
Jeffrey Gordon will share with you our unique vision of
the industry and the nature of screenwriting, then
introduce you to our unique development tools and
process.
Jeffrey and other WBC professionals will walk you
through the essential elements of any script, and give
you a crash course in how to effectively brainstorm and
express a conceptual vision. Attendees will then have
the opportunity to create their very own Premise Line
for a feature screenplay. The Premise Lines will then be
evaluated by WBC’s creative staff, and, on Sunday,
10/10, at the NYCMMMM Awards Presentation, WBC will
present awards to the Top 5 Premise Lines:
1st Prize: Certificate for WBC’s Immersion Program (a
$1,300 value)
2nd and 3rd Prizes: Certificate for WBC’s Basic
Training (a $900 value)
4th and 5th Prizes: Certificate for WBC’s Online Basic
Training (a $600 value)
The event is FREE. All attendees must RSVP by
October 6th, by filling out the info below and will be
contacted by a member of the WBC staff in the weeks
following the event, to discuss their writing and career
goals. There is still space available, so if
you would like to participate please get to Tribeca
Cinemas at least 20 minutes before the event starts.
The event will be begin promptly at 7:00pm.
Think you can play the game? Then come on down…!
