4th Place  'King of the Grophlins' by Erik Slaven   SYNOPSIS - Trying to enjoy his last weekend before turning 30, Rex Shepherd is suddenly transported inside an ATM machine while making a withdrawal, meeting a team of miniature creatures that run the machine like a factory. Known as grophlins, the creatures enlist his help to speed up transactions and stay one step ahead of the newer computerized machines that threaten to force their species into the realm of obsolescence.  (Heat 23)
