Writers are challenged to create stories 1,000 words or less and accumulate points based on their placement in each round of the competition.  Every writer that registers will compete in at least 2 challenges, and writers can compete in as many as 4 challenges based on their placement in each round. Feedback from the judges will be provided for every story submitted and a special peer review forum will be created where writers can comment on each other's stories.  For a more detailed description of how the competition works, click here.

Registration is now closed.  We have many more exciting writing contests in the future, so make sure to sign up for our newsletter (bottom right of this page) and follow us on facebook or twitter for updates.

The Creative Writing Championships is organized by NYC Midnight, an organization dedicated to discovering and promoting a new wave of talented storytellers.  NYC Midnight aims to provide the prizes and exposure necessary for writers to take their next big step towards writing professionally.
