The 3rd and Final Round of the Short Screenplay Challenge 2010 challenged 25 talented writers to create an original short story (5 pages max.) based on a genre (Fantasy), location (A hospice), and an object (A goldfish). Congratulations to the winners listed below and to everyone who competed this year for creating such great scripts in each challenge!

'A Little Night Voodoo' by Denise Jewell LOGLINE - An elderly woman in a hospice in the heart of New Orleans learns a little bit about magic and a lot about the power of kindness.
'Not-Last Days' by Brandi Sperry LOGLINE - Faced with deciding what animal she should become upon reincarnation, a dying woman goes against the advice of those around her.
'The Kid and The Koi' by Eric Borden LOGLINE - An imaginative young boy only wants his Grandfather to be free and he'll go to great depths to achieve this.

JUDGES COMMENTS / CRITIQUES: NYC Midnight provides judges' comments and critiques for every entered screenplay in each challenge of the competition.
PEER REVIEW: During the judging, a special Review Forum will be available for the participants to submit their screenplays for review from fellow writers.
