#2 'Loss of Power' by Sara Hutchinson SYNOPSIS - Newly engaged couple, Mike and Maria, spend a long weekend out bush in her family's rustic cottage to reconnect their relationship and disconnect from technology.

#3 'Solar Powered Attraction' by Cheryl Baker SYNOPSIS - When preschool teacher Reagan Meeks takes her class on a fieldtrip to visit her student’s off-grid home, things get interesting for this city girl as nature and single father, Ash Millston, get a bit up close and personal. The four-year-olds’ antics will push both Reagan and Ash out of their comfort zones but also closer together.

#4 'Unprepared' by Benton Williams SYNOPSIS - A young man named Marcus accompanies two friends on an ill-planned trip to a forest cabin in the middle of winter.

#5 'Grey Acres' by Brad Reid SYNOPSIS - Girl loves boy. Boy loves cult.

#Honorable Mention 'PRESCHOOL DROPOUT' by Randall Berger SYNOPSIS - Misty saw the new job as an adventure, but it was turning out to be anything but.

#Honorable Mention 'Sunlight' by Michelle Rowe SYNOPSIS - Sometimes all it takes is to be in the right place at the right time to change everything.

#Honorable Mention 'Tree Girl' by Vanessa Sheldon SYNOPSIS - A story inspires a parent to create a statue for his daughter’s very sheltered teacher, which inspires a relationship between the two. She comes from an “off the grid” background, while he lives in the modern world.
