2nd Round Results 
The results of the 2nd Round of the Short Story Challenge 2018 are below in ascending order by heat number!  If your story is listed among the top 3 of your heat, congratulations on advancing to the 3rd and Final Round kicking off at 11:59PM EDT this Friday, May 11th, 2018.  The 75 advancing writers will be placed in a final heat with a new genre, subject, and character assignment and will be challenged to create a 1,500 word (maximum) story in just 24 hours.

 

Regardless if your story is listed below or not, everyone should be proud of rising to both challenges and making it to the 2nd Round from an original field of 4,000 writers around the world.  We hope the competition was inspiring and everyone continues to challenge themselves as writers.  Good luck to the finalists and thank you to everyone for participating and submitting so many wonderful stories!
