#4 'No Good Deed' by Ali-Abbas Ali SYNOPSIS - In a near future, while the world anticipates the largest lottery draw ever, a hacker plans an elaborate payback on characters from her past.

#5 'Homestead Avenue' by Anna Obrien SYNOPSIS - What would you do as a 15 year old orphan squatting in your high school's computer lab when your step brother goes missing and a primitive albeit alarming artificial intelligence takes over your school and then the town? Igniting a town rebellion by releasing incendiary government video might be considered merely the warm up.

#Honorable Mention 'Don't Forget' by Krista Ranacher SYNOPSIS - It's the 26th Century. Earth is managed by Citizens who still need the Hackers.

#Honorable Mention 'Life Can Be a Dream' by Heather O'Connell SYNOPSIS - Welcome to DreamsAlive, where you can author your own dreams and defer death.

#Honorable Mention 'Remembrance' by Benjamin Wayne SYNOPSIS - After being shot in the head and assumed dead, Kestrel searches for those who betrayed him. Unable to put the pieces together without aid, he resorts to the ultimate solution, hacking into his own mind to determine the identity of his assassin and the events that lead to his attempted murder.
