#1 'Off To See The Wizard' by Stuart Hatfield
SYNOPSIS - A meetcute at a medical trade show takes an unexpected turn
as a lesson from the Wizard of Oz comes into play.
#2 'Bone Lust' by Kyle Morris SYNOPSIS - Dr. Alice Miller has a
fascination for bones. She deals with them in her day job and collects
them in her spare time. One day she attends a trade show to meet similar
bone collecting hobbyists where she reunites with a former flame.
#3 'Meat' by Josh Fernandez SYNOPSIS - Adam is an X-ray technician in
Alabama who goes to a gun show to pick up a new hunting rifle as a favor
for his redneck father (and roommate), Billy. At the show, Adam meets
Gus, a ruggedly handsome arms dealer, who sells Adam a brand new Ruger
(plus a little something extra), which changes Adam’s down-home
lifestyle forever.
#4 'X-rays and O's' by Julian Acosta SYNOPSIS -
An unconfident, hardly prince charming is blindsided by a bold young
woman’s ability to alter what was expected to be a mundane job
assignment.
#5 'Heroes United' by Candace Leigh Coulombe SYNOPSIS - Romantic
connections are pursued at a convention for the super-powered.
#Honorable Mention 'Heart and Lungs' by Alex-Marie Lombino SYNOPSIS -
Benjamin suffers inexplicably from trouble breathing. While Jane can’t
make a diagnosis, she reveals all she can about what’s happening inside
during their brief encounter.
