So, I haven't seen anyone from my heat on here yet. I have seen some fellow Rom/Com sufferers though. I'm surprised at how well mine turned out, after my initial panic over the genre. Writing the title and synopsis was the hardest part, and it really doesn't tell much about the story. I hate synopses!

Genre: Romantic Comedy
Subject: A Long Distance Relationship

Title: Twenty-Three-Thousand Eight-Hundred Forty-Seven Pawns and a Casket
Synopsis: Albie whittles and Doris cleans house.

All of that is actually true.  So here's my synopsis for heat 15 / Mystery / Used Furniture - hope my inspiration resonates with everyone - if not, for everyone who did not read Donald Sobol's "Encyclopedia Brown" series as kids, don't even bother reading my story or the following synopsis, okay?  It'll just fry your brain.

Yeah, Torak- we've been doing this for awhile - just our way of keeping it interesting until we're allowed to post the whole thing. It's our way of cheating the process. grin.
I think the issue is making sure all the stories have been received before they are put out fully here. The little teases aren't going to jeopardize anything.

I can't wait to start reading these stories.

-and for the record;
I've changed my synopsis. Have now edited it in my prior post to read slightly differently than my original, as I had an epiphany today.
(But when posting my story, I will post the old one also, to show what I'm actually being judged on.)

Wish I'd thought it through a little more than I did originally.
